Blogging notice

There are concerns about using public and commercial blogs in education due to the fact that anyone in the world can create a blogg without it being moderated.

When creating a blogg for students I would suggest the use of a system that can be moderated easily by the teacher.

Although it has a different structure one possible solution is Making The News

Spreadsheets......some ideas

Have Number Box (on all networked machines) with the Dinner Register template open so all the students get used to using a spreadsheet on a daily basis.

The Pate a Son is a sound toy and compositional tool conceived to encourage musical experimentation. It is also a model of a sweet factory which can be explored and controlled by changing variables including the speed, position and shape of the instruments and pipes.

Drag instruments, switches, and transporter pipes from the conveyor belt to the checkerboard above to make music. Rotate the pieces. Choose a melody. Change pitch, tempo and volume to fine-tune your composition.
